Monday “Funday”!

Well, I successfully knocked my first run off my calendar today.  I ran roughly 3 miles in 31:56 on the dike, so around an 11:00 minute pace.  I’m hoping that with each run I check off, I feel less like a dying cow?  Do all runners start out feeling like their insides may just end up on the ground by the end of their run?  Hmm…I hope this gets easier!   Even though I finished the Couch to 5k program, I’ve only done a handful of outside runs.  Nothing compares to pavement…nothing.  I am just going to keep running.  Like in Finding Nemo, “Just Keep Swimming.” 

Short and sweet.  It’s 8:01pm, and I may start eating the keyboard…tah tah! 🙂
